This exhibition of photographs and etchings from the collection pivots rhetorically between individual psychosis as catalyst for anxieties and man-made environments as the perpetrator for the complexities and unease of human relationships.

Whilst Iosif Király, Purdy Eaton and Francisco Ugarte draw on architectural conceits to capture the perception of an individual’s loss of a place within the context of its collective history; Susan Hiller, Paula Rego and Laurie Simmons squarely place the individual at the centre of a debilitating sense of displacement and need for communication.

Together these works raise important questions of individual culpability and collective liability.

The exhibition ends August 2015.
